Guidance for project teams
This guide collects experiences in the implementation of the One Health approach. It aims to provide project planners and managers with guidance on how the holistic perspective of the One Health approach can render benefits across multiple sectors. It is a tool designed for project teams who want to put the One Health approach into practice.
Stand- alone modules
The Sector Programme One Health has developed this guide in close contact with staff of GIZ projects to document the knowledge they have accumulated. It is a compendium composed of stand- alone modules that don’t have to be read in their sequential order. Each module provides links and references to scientific and conceptual documents. However, focus of the guide is set on ongoing project work.
Share experiences and learn from others
The themes of first modules were chosen based on available information. It is intended to add more modules and expand the thematic areas covered by this document. Links to examples of individual projects complement the guide. Our vision is to provide a platform where practitioners can share their experiences and learn from others.
